PPSI-13528 Vacuum Supply 8

The PPSI-12000 self-contained ink supply requires a stable source of vacuum.  The PPSI-13528 Vacuum Supply 8 is a convenient  way to provide vacuum for up to 8 ink supplies. The system is shown below:

In the far right corner one can see a round connector where 24VDC power is supplied to the system. Next to it is a DB-9 connector that provides an RS-485 connection to the printer control computer. The large pressure control knob is next.  Eight 4mm tube fittings are distributed across the front edge of the system. Tubes from these fittings can be routed directly to the PPSI-12000 ink supplies. Below each one of the vacuum tube connections is an ink trap that prevents damage  if ink is accidentally drawn into the vacuum system.

The pressure to each ink supply is monitored by the integrated microcontroller.   The printing system host computer can monitor each of these pressures via the RS-485 connection.
